A white frame picture display | Fayetteville portrait photographer

Most people choose a classic black or mahogany frame to display their pictures. As in like 90% of the time. If they’re anything like me, they’re a little afraid to think outside the box. Black and mahogany are safe and conservative. Don’t get me wrong! I LOVE black frames (in fact, it’s the only frame color you’ll find in my house currently) and I’m not saying they should be traded in, but let’s shake up the status quo!

Enter the white frame. It’s clean and fresh. It gives a completely different vibe to your images and I think, breathes new life into a room. I grabbed a few of my favorites from Pinterest to show you how it’s done.

I love that display! I love how all the frames are sized differently, some photos are matted, some are not. I love how some of the frames don’t contain images, but rather meaningful sayings. Even with all the variation, the edges of the display still line up perfectly. Not only that, but you can clearly see how this gallery wall display was made to accentuate the home. Beautiful!

Oh man! That display on the left kind of has me drooling! I’m a sucker for rustic wood but find it hard to incorporate it into a space without looking TOO rustic. This modern display featuring identical square white frames really brings the whole thing into this century. You’ll notice that while the frames are square, the images aren’t. I’m not a fan of cropping images to square sized because I feel like you lose so much of the original picture but this display removes that concern entirely. (You won’t see square frames in my regular product offering, but I can special order them upon request.)

The display on the right is another example of using differently sized frames to create a unified display. It begins with an anchor piece in the center (typically the largest print on the wall) and builds outward from there. This is a great option for a wall you’d like to continue to add images to over time.

I hope these few options give you some great ideas for creating a stunning white frame picture display in your own home!
